GIFT GUIDE - THE FOODIE x HOSTESS

We know November literally just started but we can’t help ourselves. Every week leading up to Christmas we will be giving the gift of guidance this holiday season. Look forward to weekly guides with throughlines for every niche person in your life. Thanksgiving is a dearly beloved holiday, but the pilgrims really should’ve given gifts if they wanted to pull focus.
This week we give our attention to the foodies and hostess’, because where would we be without the friend who cooks us dinner while we sit and watch?
It may seem simplistic but a real chef can never have too many cookbooks. Finding new recipes and experimenting to make them your own is the fun of it all. If you know what your foodie likes, stick with your guns, but we recommend smaller cookbook creators with books full of gems (like the one above ;)).
Again, a definite go-to for a hostess or foodie but glassware is such an underrated gift. It’s been climbing the price ranks lately and most people don’t want to spend the money to buy a cool cocktail glass themselves anymore; however, if you were to swoop in and gift a unique set of glassware that’s right up their alley, well you might as well be the second coming of Santa Claus.
This is a fun one! And another item some may find too trivial to treat themselves to. Kitchen gadgets have gone back to their roots of sensible but stylish in recent years. We often find ourselves reminiscing on the kitschy salt and pepper shakers we used growing up (yearning for that feeling again). Look no further than gadgets like the above: a silver fish lemon squeezer. It’s the thing that gets brought out at the party and everyone wonders where it’s from all night. You could provide the coolness this evokes. Not only that but doesn’t it always feel good when everyone loves something and you get to say “I got that”?
Practical!! And cute!! That is truly all you need to give a good gift. The versatility of reusable bags is never ending and picking one unique to the receiver is another step in the right direction. Grocery shopping? Yes. Book bag? Yes. Bag to sneak food into the movies? Yes! Make life easier for the friend who goes shopping non-stop and finds themselves drowning in plastic bags at home.
One of my favorite additions to any Christmas gifts is a personal ornament. They are the gift that keeps on giving, and without fail, bring back fond memories of the past. For the food guru we have an assortment of ornaments like butter sticks, strawberries, coffee mugs, etc.
The classic pancake mug. Haven’t you always wanted to find a mug with a lid? Not only is this cute, but it makes for a stylish way to keep your coffee or tea hot throughout the day. Also would make for a unique addition to a foodie’s glassware display, it's giving diner chic if you ask me (in a good way).
Following our obvious theme, we bring you the cherry pie trinket tray. A perfect addition to any chef or bakers home to add a bit of maximist realism to their life! It makes for a good jewelry holder, a utensil rest, or just an adorable trinket. The world is their oyster.
Who says women can’t have hobbies? There is a surprisingly high cross over of chef-y and witch-y personality traits in the average girl. A pasta tarot deck is the answer to everything. This is the type of gift you get when you truly understand your friend, lover, etc.
The best invention since sliced bread if I do say so myself. These craft drink mixes are the best remedy for a hostess in a bind. All you need is your choice of alcohol, the mix, and voila! You have a drink in seconds with basically no measurements needed. I don’t know about you but I need an espresso martini on hand at all times, and so does the host of the party. Give the gift of inebriation this Christmas… your mom needs it.
Surprise, surprise… another addition to the hostess’ cocktail line up and this one’s a goodie. Being stocked up on syrups and mixes really does shave off precious prep time when getting ready for a party. They add such a punch up to the flavor in a recipe and are so simple. We have a delicious espresso syrup for you to gift this Christmas! Our syrup plus cocktail glasses and a favorite alcohol makes for the perfect gift that takes no time and little effort.
Jewelry is a knockout when it comes to Christmas gifts. They can get probably the most use out of it and it allows for you to get some bang for your buck. You can also pair this knife necklace with a personalized charm necklace or bracelet to really kick the gift up a notch and add a personalized touch. As they say… it's really the thought that counts!
What a perfect way to relax and unwind. We are never too old to color and neither are you. This cocktail coloring book has tons of different pages of every cocktail you could think of. Not only a way to find new drink ideas but a way to enjoy drinking without ever taking a sip. Everyone deserves their zen time!
